Project: Sweet Identity for Dimples Delights
A Branding and Design Collaboration with a Local Online Cake Shop
As part of my creative portfolio, I had the pleasure of designing the brand identity for Dimples Delights, a local online cake shop based in Hinatuan. This small business, known for its delightful and custom-made cakes, needed cohesive and inviting visuals to match its charming and homey offerings.
Building a Visual Brand
I began by crafting a logo that reflects the warmth, sweetness, and handcrafted quality of Dimples Delights. The soft pastel color palette and playful typography were carefully chosen to appeal to its family-oriented and celebration-loving audience. This logo became the anchor for all brand visuals moving forward.
Social Media Presence
Next, I designed the Facebook cover photo to immediately communicate the shop’s specialty—homemade cakes that bring joy to every occasion. The design included visual elements that highlight both the brand identity and the product offerings. It was important to make the page inviting, trustworthy, and easy to recognize at first glance.
Menu Design with Personality
Finally, I created a clear, visually engaging menu that not only showcased the cakes and pricing but also reflected the overall brand tone: fun, warm, and approachable. The layout was optimized for mobile viewing, making it easy for customers to place orders via Facebook.
This project demonstrates how thoughtful branding and consistent design can elevate a small business’s online presence and customer appeal. Dimples Delights now presents a cohesive, professional image that helps build trust and attract cake lovers throughout their community.
